Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SHAREROUND (www.shareround.com), a service operated by PRESERVE Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) that lists tee times PRESERVE has booked at partner courses in Japan for golfers to join. By using the service you accept these Terms.

The service

PRESERVE books tee times at partner courses in Japan and lists them on SHAREROUND as open tee times. You can join one on your own or with friends (up to 4 players). PRESERVE handles the booking with the course, arranges rental clubs on request and supports the group in English. Green fees and other course charges are paid directly at the course and are not part of our fees.

Fees, confirmation and refunds

Each player owes a joining fee per seat, shown on the tee time page. When you apply you register a payment card and authorise PRESERVE to charge the joining fee, any rental clubs and — if you cancel within 3 days of play — the course’s cancellation fee to that card. The joining fee is charged 7 days before tee-off once the tee time goes ahead; cancellation before then is free. A tee time goes ahead once the minimum number of players have applied; if it doesn’t fill, nobody is charged. Cancellations by us or the course are refunded in full. Rental clubs

Rental club sets are an optional add-on charged together with your joining fee and follow the same refund rules. PRESERVE’s rental partner will deliver your clubs directly to the golf course on your play date. Please collect them at the clubhouse. You choose hand, flex and men’s or women’s set; the brand and model (for example PING, TaylorMade or Callaway) depend on availability and can’t be chosen.

Group chat & conduct

Each round includes a group chat for players to connect and coordinate. PRESERVE staff may monitor chats to assist with arrangements.

Please respect fellow players and follow golf course rules and etiquette. Inappropriate behavior or no-shows may result in removal from the round.

Your account

Keep your sign-in method secure. Your player profile (display name, country, skill level, languages) is visible to other players in rounds you interact with; your email address is not.

Liability

PRESERVE arranges bookings and group formation; play itself and your conduct at the course are your responsibility. Players in a round are matched with each other and are not vetted by PRESERVE: PRESERVE is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, any dispute, loss or injury between players. Travel to and from the course is your own responsibility; PRESERVE does not provide or insure transportation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid to us for the round concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the agreed court of first instance.
