Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SHAREROUND (www.shareround.com), a service operated by PRESERVE Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) that helps golfers form groups and books tee times at partner courses in Japan. By using the service you accept these Terms. The service is intended for users aged 18 and above.

The service

You can open a round or join one. When a group is set, PRESERVE requests and holds a real tee time with the course, arranges rentals on request, and supports the group in English. Green fees and other course charges are paid directly at the course and are not part of our fees.

Fees, confirmation and refunds

Each player pays a joining fee per seat (shown on the round page; a higher last-minute rate applies when booking within 3 days of play). Payment is requested only after the tee time is held, with a payment deadline shown to you. A round confirms when every seat is paid, or at the deadline when the minimum number of players have paid. If a round does not confirm, everyone who paid is refunded in full, automatically. If we or the course cancel (for example, weather), you are refunded in full. If you drop out yourself, you receive a full refund until the refund cutoff shown on the round; after the cutoff, fees are not refunded.

Premium rental clubs

Premium rental club sets are an optional add-on charged together with your joining fee and refunded on the same terms as the joining fee. Course rental clubs arranged for you are paid at the course.

Group chat and conduct

Each round has a group chat. PRESERVE staff can read round chats — that is how we arrange tee times, rentals and transport. Be respectful; we may remove players or cancel rounds for abusive behaviour, no-shows or violation of course rules. Course etiquette and dress codes apply at the course.

Your account

Keep your sign-in method secure. Your player card (display name, country, skill level, languages) is visible to other players in rounds you interact with; your email address is not.

Liability

PRESERVE arranges bookings and group formation; play itself and your conduct at the course are your responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid to us for the round concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the agreed court of first instance.
