Cancellation & refunds

These rules apply to open tee times — tee times PRESERVE has booked and lists on SHAREROUND.

When you pay

When you apply, you register a card. Nothing is charged at that point.
The joining fee, plus any rental clubs, is charged to that card 7 days before tee-off (the apply-by date), provided the tee time is going ahead.
If the charge fails, we email you a payment link; the seat is released if it isn’t paid within 24 hours.
Green fees and lunch are paid at the course and are never charged by SHAREROUND.

More than 7 days before play (before the apply-by date): free. Your card isn’t charged.
7 to 3 days before play: the joining fee and any rental clubs are charged and not refunded.
Within 3 days of play: the joining fee, rental clubs and the course’s cancellation fee (the green fee) are charged. PRESERVE charges the course fee to your registered card.
You can cancel from the tee time page at any time. Your seat is released for another golfer.
Rain or other weather with the course open counts as a cancellation by you.

A tee time goes ahead once the minimum number of golfers (usually 2) have applied.
If it doesn’t reach the minimum by its apply-by date, it won’t go ahead and nobody is charged.

If the course closes (for example, for weather) or PRESERVE has to cancel, you are not charged — and anything already charged is refunded in full.

Refunds go back to the card you registered and usually appear within 5–10 business days. See also the Terms of Service. Questions: concierge@preservegolfjapan.com.
